Parts Requisitioner
Job Summary
The Parts Requisitioner provides support for CalPortland’s transportation and operational needs with specific responsibilities including creating requisitions for purchase order creators, executing goods received for invoices, assisting purchase order creators with parts acquisition, and pulling parts and shop supplies.

Responsibilities
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Creation of requisitions with attention to detail and accuracy
- GR on invoices
- Assisting purchase order creators
- Maintain good communication with management
- Manage/maintain accurate records including files and shop records
- Ensure safe operation of vehicles; maintain a safe work environment
Education
High school diploma/GED
Requirements/Qualifications
- Working knowledge of purchasing, materials, and supply chain functions
- Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to direct to day-to-day activities of the Parts Coordinator ensuring all department tasks and duties are completed accurately and timely
- Ability to provide guidance and feedback to Parts Coordinator
- Dependable
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Physical requirements: climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, stretching, driving/sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, occasional lifting of 75-100 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate with company personnel and able to work cooperatively and efficiently with others
- Ability to work in extremes of hot or cold weather and be able to work in wet environments, while at plant sites
- Must be able to work flexible hours with varying start/stop times
- Overtime work will be required as is needed by the company
- Must follow all CalPortland Safety Policies and procedures, including Safety and Environmental Policies
- ANSI-approved PPE will be provided and must be worn when required
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong computer skills
- Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance record; adhering to work schedule and daily attendance is required
Preferred:
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Ready Mix and Heavy Equipment
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA-regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
