Project Engineer Intern
Job Summary
The Project Engineer Intern will work on-site at our cement plant, gaining practical experience in managing projects related to equipment installations and modifications. This role offers hands-on exposure to industrial operations, construction, and project management while collaborating closely with plant personnel and contractors to achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and directing on-site activities for equipment installations and modifications at the cement plant.
- Support the preparation of plans, specifications, and drawings for construction and equipment related projects.
- Participate in vendor and contractor coordination to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Work alongside plant leaders.
Education
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good attendance and punctual
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Must possess valid driver's license, insurance and be insurable to drive company vehicles
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
