Plant Maintenance (Ready Mix)
Job Summary
The Plant Repairperson is responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of the ready-mix concrete plant as well as other miscellaneous work that needs to be performed.

Responsibilities
- Duties will include repairs/maintenance (welding/cutting) of the plant equipment
- Electrical trouble shooting, ordering parts and supplies
- Some heavy equipment operation may be required
- Maintenance personnel are required to maintain a clean, safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient operation
- Maintenance / repair skills are needed to be successful in this role
- This job requires the ability to work safely and efficiently in a multi-tasking high pressure environment
- Other duties, as assigned
Education
High School Diploma/GED
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver’s license and safe driving record
- Will be required to work overtime and weekends as business needs determine
- Must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment; exposure to weather elements, dust, noise, etc.
- Some work will be performed in confined spaces and at extreme heights
- Physical requirements: standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, crouching, stooping, bending, feeling, balancing, sitting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and frequent lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Requires climbing up and down stairs and/or ladders
- Strong communication, written, and oral skills
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment including safety glasses, respiratory protection, safety belts, gloves, etc.
- Experience complying with OSHA and AZ Environmental Regulations
- Must be able to work cooperatively with others
- Basic computer skills will be required
- Plant Maintenance personnel must have ability to provide own tools
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
