Service Desk Intern

Job Summary

CalPortland is looking for a summer intern to join our IT team in Glendora. This internship is perfect for students interested in IT, information systems, or computer science. 

Compensation

$22.00-$27.00/hr DOE

Responsibilities

• Documents workflows and create "how to" guides 
• Contribute to IT knowledge base and onboarding materials
• Assist with IT asset managment 
• Learn about different IT roles through cross training 
• Attend intern day in Las Vegas, NV

Education

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degee in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 

Requirements/Qualifications

• Basic IT knowledge and interest in service desk operations 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Able to work independently and as part of a team 

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
