Purchasing Support Intern

Job Summary

CalPortland is seeking a summer intern for the Purchasing Department. This internship is ideal for a student interested in Business Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.


  • Assist with various analysis for the purchasing department
  • Complete Safety and MSHA training and any other site/job specific required training
  • Carry-out and practice all safety training and Company policies in the CalPortland workplace


Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field


  • Excellent communication
  • Timeliness
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to work well in a team environment


  • Prior experience or internship in the construction or building materials industry
